The Great Commission is found in Matthew 28: 18-20:

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (NIV)

This command was mandated not only to the disciples of biblical times, but all who have received the salvation of the Lord. Michael Lee Womack is a native of Sanford, North Carolina. In Matthew chapter twenty – eight, verse nineteen, Jesus provides the following commandment: “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” Many know this as The Great Commission, a commandment given by Jesus Christ to everyone who accepts Him as their Lord and savior to be disciples that go out and make disciples.
